More than a dozen Southampton pubs have made it into the Campaign for Real Ale's Good Beer Guide 2025.
The UK's best-selling beer and pub guide is celebrating its 52nd edition this year as it continues to champion thousands of the best pubs across the country.
On Monday the Echo published eight of the 17 Southampton pubs that have made it onto the list - here's a list of the remaining nine:

Freemantle Arms - 31 Albany Road, SO15 3EF
Branded a "hidden urban oasis" in the Good Beer Guide, the Freemantle Arms is located in a quiet cul-de-sac and started out as a 19th-century cider house.
The bar is decorated with pictures of historical Southampton and boasts a conservatory and five real ales on the bar.
Guide Dog - 38 Earl’s Road, SO14 6SF
This refurbished pub was previously local CAMRA Pub of the Year and offers an array of real ales across 11 handpumps.
The Guide Dog hosts a number of special events including Thai curry nights and pie sales on Southampton FC match days.
Key & Anchor - 90 Millbrook Road East, SO15 1JQ
Built in 1862, this Victorian pub has a small garden at the rear, plus a small seating area at the front with a couple of different seating areas inside.
The pub has three handpumps on the bar with one a changing beer with a jukebox playing music.
Olaf’s Tun - 8 Portsmouth Road, SO19 9AA
Olaf's Tun has been described as a "welcoming and inclusive micropub" and offers six changing real ales, eight keg craft beers, bag-in-box still ciders and a selection of bottled and canned beers.
Customers can also get food and bar snacks with the pub running regular events including craft evenings and a running club.
Park Inn - 37 Carlisle Road, SO16 4FN
Described as a "proper street-corner local", the Park Inn fronts both Shirley Park and Carlisle Roads and serves three ales.
The landlady prepares Scotch eggs, pies and sausage rolls to be sold at the bar with quizzes held on Sunday and Wednesday.
Platform Tavern - Town Quay, SO14 2NY
The Platform Tavern was forced to close after a fire in late 2023 but has now fully reopened with three handpumps in use.
It is close to the cruise and ferry terminal and is popular at weekends with live music on Friday and Satuday evenings, late Sunday afternoon and most Thursday evenings.
South Western Arms - 38-40 Adelaide Road, SO17 2HW
Joined with St Denys railway station, the Victorian-era South Western Arms offers up to nine real ales.
It is set over two floors, with pub games upstairs and an enclosed paved back garden. Live music also takes place.
Wellington Arms - 56 Park Road, SO15 3DE
The Wellington Arms dates back to the 1860s and currently serves up seven cask beers with Wellingtonian pictures found throughout.
The front bar is "adorned with pre-decimal copper coins" with glassware hanging above and a real fire to warm the building in the winter.
Witch’s Brew - 220 Shirley Road, SO15 3FL
Branded a "quirky witch-themed micropub" in the Good Beer Guide, the Witch's Brew on Shirley Road has two rooms and a small serving bar at the back.
Up to six beers are served with customers knowing it for its "friendly atmosphere". The Witch's Brew is a frequent local CAMRA Pub of the Year finalist.
