The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
GARY STEVENS, 36, of Rollestone Road, Holbury pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely cocaine in Southampton. He was fined £166 and must pay £85 court costs. The court ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
PHOEBE STAR, 27, of Chapel Road, Southampton admitted two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker. These relate to police officers. Star received a one-year community order with a mental health treatment requirement, eight rehabilitation days and an £80 fine. Star must also pay £85 compensation and a £114 surcharge.
STEVEN ROBINSON, 44, of Millais Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after he stole five packs of Lurpak butter and three tins of John West Tuna from Co-Op in Southampton. The items were worth £25.20 in total. Robinson must pay £25.20 compensation and a £40 fine. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £16 surcharge.

DANIEL WHITESIDE, 39, of Marryat Road, New Milton admitted two counts of theft from a shop after he stole £50.97 worth of vodka from Aldi in Starling Road, New Milton. He also stole £14.95 of food from Nisa Local, New Milton. Whiteside pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to bail at Southampton Magistrates' Court as well. He was ordered to pay £50.97 compensation and a £23 fine.
RICHARD ENGLISH, 77, of Mayfield Avenue, Totton admitted three counts of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. He breached the order by failing to notify police within three days of purchasing a Samsung tablet, failing to retain the history of internet use on his smart TV and failing to notify police within three days of purchasing a mobile phone. English received a community order until March 26, 2025, with five rehabilitation days and a £293 fine. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.
