A man who scored an impressive jackpot in the lottery will spend his winnings on his dog.
The buildings surveyor from Southampton, who wished to remain anonymous, won £3,063 on Pick My Postcode.
With more than £3k in his pocket, the 43-year-old plans to donate to charities close to his heart and celebrate with a Twix and Snickers.
But not before treating his beloved dog Ziva, who celebrated her birthday on October 4.
He said: “For her birthday she will be getting a more luxury bed, rather than a bog standard cushion (not that she will notice the difference) from the winnings."
His win comes eight years after joining the free lottery website and he has never missed any of the draws.
Spending this time on the site meant he built his earnings up himself, and he won an extra £10 on top of his £3,053 ‘bonus’.

When asked how he felt about winning so large a sum, he said: “It still hasn't sunk in to be honest. I don't win anything, so this came very much as a surprise.
“I will look to donate the money to various charities that I have been unfortunate to have had involvement with over the last few years through various means, that will be welcoming of the donations and knowing the difference these donations can make to their causes.”
He is also excited to buy a full-size Twix and Snickers, both of which he has not eaten in several years.
He previously won £10 on the site on 2017 and has encouraged other people to take part for something that could “put a big smile on your face.”
The team at Pick My Postcode said that 1,716 members from Southampton have won a total of £13,496.28 since 2017.
