A man has been charged after a PlayStation and cigarettes were stolen in a spate of burglaries.
Four residential properties in the city were broken into in August and September.
Sajid Anwar, 44, has been charged with three counts of burglary, one count of burglary with intent to steal and one count of fraud by false representation.
Anwar, of Derby Road, has been remanded into custody and will next appear at Southampton Crown Court on October 31.

On August 2, a PlayStation console, games and various other items were taken from a flat on Canute Road.
The items were later recovered.
Entry was gained to a flat on Monks Way on August 30 and cash, a phone and various other items were taken.
On September 22 entry was forced to a flat on Cranbury Avenue and a purse, cigarettes and a phone were stolen.
Bank cards inside the purse were later used and around £100 was spent.
A property in Shakespeare Avenue was then targeted on September 24.
