Residents in Southampton are being warned that the city could face severe weather or isolated tornadoes.
The Tornado and Storm Research Organisation (TORRO) has issued a convective discussion - its third covering Southampton in as many days - warning that the city could face severe weather this afternoon and evening.
The warning, which covers much of southern and eastern England, is in force until 3am on Wednesday.
This comes after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in Southampton today, which also expires at 3am.
Residents are also being warned that the region could face winds of up to 55 miles per hour or more.
The research centre has also stated that Southampton is to be hit by hail with diameter of at least 20mm.

A spokesperson for TORRO said: "Some of the heavier cores may bring hail to around 10mm diameter, perhaps 15mm in the south, where better deep-layer shear may assist in organising cells a little more.
"Gusty winds to 50-55 miles per hour are also possible, as well as occasional cloud to ground [also known as fork] lightning.
"Whilst the overall tornado risk is low, high low-level relative humidity/low cloud bases, along with reasonable low-level shear, means that an isolated tornado or two is possible."
