A CCTV image has been released by police after a teenager suffered serious injuries after being headbutted by a man at a bus stop in Eastleigh.

The 17-year-old boy – who was waiting at a bus stop with friends – was attacked on the corner of Nutbeam Road and Derby Road after being threatened by two men.

The men – in their mid-to-late 30 – head-butted, punched and kneed him, leaving the teenager with a fractured eye socket. He was treated in hospital.

The first man in the CCTV image has been described as white, 35 to 40 years old, and 5ft 10ins tall.

He was seen wearing black clothing, thought to be a zip-up hooded top and jogging bottoms. He was also seen with an old bicycle that had no seat.
