A crash caused severe rush hour delays on a busy road last night.
A white car smashed into the railings on Bitterne Road West and flipped onto its side following the collision last night.
The second car involved ploughed into a wall outside a house, with its rear and bonnet destroyed.

READ MORE:A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 6.36pm yesterday with reports of a collision involving three vehicles on Bitterne Road West in Southampton.
"One person has reported minor injuries."
No arrests were made.
The road was closed in both directions while the incident was dealt with.
The highways team from Southampton City Council said: “An incident has occurred on Bitterne Road West and the road is currently closed in both directions between Bullar Road and Bitterne Road East whilst emergency services attend.
“Please approach with caution and plan any journeys if using this route.”
The road was reopened later that night.
