Three play areas are set for improvement works set to begin this autumn.
The upgrades announced by Fareham Borough Council apply to the play areas on Laurel Gardens, Course Park Crescent and Elsanta Crescent, which will all be upgraded this year.
It is part of a five-year programme of improvement to fifteen play areas, running up to 2028.
But the council has warned the works will be subject to weather and ground conditions.
FBC said a public consultation took place in spring, during which residents responded with their preferred options for updates to the three play areas.
An invitation to tender for this project was issued earlier this year and a contract for the works was awarded to Kompan.
Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Connie Hockley, said: “I am thrilled that the upgrades to these three play areas will soon be underway.
"Every child deserves quality outdoor playtime, which is essential for their health and wellbeing.
"The new items of equipment, especially those designed for inclusivity, will cater for all youngsters, providing enjoyment for years to come.”
Items of equipment that will be added include an inclusive roundabout and swing, communication boards and springers.

Elsanta Crescent will see a brand new toddler slide, a spin and bounce see saw and a new flat swing and cradle swing.
Course Park Crescent's new additions will include role play equipment where as Laurel Gardens will see a new garage workshop role play unit and a flat swing.
In addition, the authority said that the existing play equipment will be cleaned and re-painted where required, and areas will be pressure-washed and tidied up.
Work at Elsanta Crescent will start on October 21, subject to weather conditions, while improvements to Laurel Gardens and Course Park Crescent are expected to commence in November.
In 2025, three more play parks across the Fareham region will also see upgrades.
These are set to include Hollybrook Gardens and St Michael's in Locks Heath, as well as Bellfield in Titchfield
