Three people were taken to hospital after a crash left a BMW precariously resting on its side.
A white BMW and purple Toyota were badly damaged after a crash on Bitterne Road West on Thursday evening.
Debris was strewn across the dual carriageway, with railings bent and a garden smashed too.
Now, police have confirmed that three people suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the crash.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Officers are appealing for information following a collision in Southampton.
"The incident happened at around 6.36pm on Thursday, 10 October on Bitterne Road West, and involved a white BMW and a purple Toyota.
"Three people suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Residents have since demanded extra safety measures on the road, after the crash left it a scene of devastation.
A 27-year-old chef, whose wall was destroyed, told the Echo the road is "super dangerous".
The dad said: "I was up putting the kids to bed when I heard what I thought was a HGV driving past, but then I heard glass smash, looked at the window and saw the state of my garden and one car had landed on its side across the fence.
"We’re not the homeowners, we’re just renting, so there’s nothing we can claim on."
