Two specialist Hampshire care homes have been sold to Sandbourne House Ltd.

Seventrees Residential Home in Fawley and Webber House in Park Gate were previously owned by Auckland Care Holdings Ltd.

The homes were sold following a confidential sales process conducted by Christie & Co.

Seventrees is a detached, two-storey building registered for eight people with learning disabilities and features single bedrooms, day space, and a secure garden.

Webber House, a supported living setting for nine residents, has 11 single bedrooms, a garden, day space, and a passenger lift.

Both care homes were sold to Sandbourne House Ltd, an existing specialist care home provider. The company saw synergies between the homes and its own operations.

Trinity Munowenyu, managing director of Auckland Care Holdings Ltd, said: "We are delighted to have successfully sold the two homes to Sandbourne House Ltd and wish them all the best with their future plans.

"These are two very good homes with lovely residents and great staff, and it has been a pleasure owning and operating these homes."

A spokesperson for Sandbourne House Ltd said: "The purchase of these two businesses shows our commitment to the specialist care sector and they are a great addition to our company. We look forward to getting to know the residents, their families, and staff and working to better the lives of those we look after."

Charles Phillips, director of healthcare at Christie & Co, said: "I am really pleased that we have achieved the sale of these two businesses for Auckland Care Holdings Ltd and feel that the new owners will be very successful with their plans.

"These are the second and third homes the buyer has purchased through us at Christie & Co, and it is a pleasure to be involved in their expansion journey."
