A number of motorway closures may impact Southampton drivers this weekend according to National Highways.

These will be along the M3, M27 and M271 during the early hours of the morning.

On the M27 eastbound, there will be an exit slip road closure at Junction 7 for major resurfacing work.

This will take place from 8pm on Friday until 7am on Saturday.

On the M27 eastbound, there will be exit and entry slip road closures between Junction 5 and 7 for major resurfacing work.

Alongside that, just the exit slip road at Junction 8 will be closed as well.

This will occur from 9pm on Saturday until 6am on Sunday.
