It's the revamped city centre bar with a rooftop sky bar, bargain beers and pizzas for a fiver. 

Since its recent relaunch Revolution is also bringing back the classic house party, starting next week. 

Bosses at the long-standing bar in Bedford Place, affectionately known as Revs, say they have upped their game and lowered their prices since a major financial restructuring.

An innovative new cocktail menu includes everything from traditional favourites to daring new creations , including chili roulette shots, chase the ace drinks and truth or dare cocktails. 

 

All full-size pizzas are £5, there's two for £10 on main courses and half price food for students enjoying a night out in buzzing Bedford Place. 

Special offers on drinks include £3.50 pints and £5 doubles, as well as £1.50 shots and two for the price of one cocktails.

Events lead Elle Dennis said the main aim is making nights out affordable again.

She added: "Recognising that nights out are more expensive than ever, Revolution Bars wants to create night outs to fit even the tightest budget, so young people in Southampton can have an exceptional experience without breaking the bank.

"We have also completed a listening exercise with our community, and we’ve concluded that our Gen Z customers in particular are actively seeking nights out that involve music and dancing.

“That’s why we have teamed up with Red Bull to bring a one-of-a-kind house party experience to the masses here in Southampton, on Tuesday 22nd October, and the best part is - it’s free!"

The Rev's House Parties series is launching next week, sponsored by Red Bull, with the bar set to be transformed into a house party venue  - complete with a kitchen, fridge stocked with Red Bull, kitchen island turned DJ deck and more.

The Revolution Southampton House Party will be hosted by Island Ting and will feature music from its resident DJs Stimpy, Xiao Lee, KS, Corneli and Sabz.
