A reduced timetable will be in operation with Red Funnel's high-speed service to the Isle of Wight set to be reduced to just one ferry next month.
The cross-Solent ferry provider have confirmed that one of its Red Jets will be out of service as it comes out of service for a refit.
Red Funnel said the maintenance work will ensure its vessels are fully equipped for the peak season in the summer months.
Red Jet 6 will undergo her annual refit at Wight Shipyard from November 10 to December 2.
The list of work includes servicing of the vessel’s hydraulic and safety systems, essential maintenance to the vessel’s generators, jet propulsion systems and main engine and new carpeting in the passenger accommodation area.
During that time, a reduced timetable will be in operation.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience these temporary changes to our timetable may cause. Works are carried out in a period of lower demand to minimise disruption to our customers.”
Red Funnel’s other hi-speed vessel, Red Jet 7 is anticipated to enter her annual refit in January 2025.
The company has said it will will provide customers more information about this in the near future.
This comes after Red Jet 4 left Southampton for South Korea having been sold by Red Funnel.
Red Funnel said it was part of a 'strategic decision' to focus on the upkeep and reliability of Red Jets 6 and 7.
