MATTHEW WEDGNER, 47, of Edelvale Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to one count of shoplifting after he stole chocolate valued at £108 from Tesco Express on Cobden Avenue in Southampton on August 21. He also pleaded guilty to stealing £59 of goods from a Co-op store in the city on May 29. Wedgner was fined £40 and ordered to pay £108 in compensation.
MICHELLE GRUNDY, 45, of Falkland Road, Chandler's Ford, pleaded guilty to six counts of shoplifting from Co-op in Eastleigh. She stole steaks, washing tablets, wine and crisps to the value of £70 on July 26; laundry tablets valued at £20 on July 6; steak valued at £30 on June 16; steak, washing tablets and wines valued at £70; wine valued at £22 on July 10; and ham and salami on July 25. She further admitted stealing two iPads valued at £1,600 belonging to David Mellor Jewellers in Eastleigh on July 22, a wallet in Southampton on July 31, and two counts of fraud relating to using a stolen debit card to pay for a taxi journey and purchase at Charcoal Grill on July 31. Grundy also admitted burglary at The Leonardo Royal Hotel in Southampton on August 13, as well as handling stolen goods in Southampton on August 15. She was given a one-year community order, which will see her give an alcohol treatment requirement for six months, and 20 days of rehabilitation activities. She was fined £120 and must pay a total of £1,925 in compensation.

BLAINE LATA, 32, of Spring Road, Southampton, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements following a period of imprisonment. He failed to keep in touch with his supervisor, namely attending planned office appointments on September 5 and 24. Lata was fined £80 and must pay £80 in costs.
