The brightest supermoon of the year graced the skies of Southampton last night.
Daily Echo Camera Club members managed to capture the Hunter's Moon - the third supermoon of 2024 - at peak brightness.
Pictures poured into the group of the moon's striking yellow tint, with the images taken before the morning fog covered it up.

Photographers got the best views from the New Forest and from Gosport – and we were delighted to see some vibrant photographs of the phenomena.
Amanda Morby's photograph caught the coloured moon in full glory, while Claire Sheppard captured the effect it had on the sky as the sun set.
The next supermoon is expected to be in the skies on November 15 – which will also be the last of the year.
