A planning application to turn a Botley listed building into a two-bedroom home has been met with objections by a neighbour.
The application submitted to Eastleigh Borough Council is to convert the Grade II listed building, The Old Stables, on Winchester Street into a two-bedroom home.
It is one of eight listed building in Winchester Street and is in the middle of a conservation area.
The application has said that no external changes are necessary to convert the building.

A neighbour of the property, Mr Wiseman, who also lives on Winchester Street, has raised a number of objections.
He said: “Drainage would be inadequate to support another residential property and becomes blocked on a frequent basis.
“Noise disturbance levels would be greatly increased if the Old Stables was occupied full time.”
The resident added that he had concerns about parking and the lack of a garden at the property.
A decision is due to be made in due course.
