A law firm has been praised in an influential legal guide for the second time in less than two weeks.
Ringwood-based Ellis Jones Solicitors received recognition in the Chambers UK Legal Guide 2025 for its work in family/matrimonial and commercial litigation areas.
The firm was also recognised as one of the best small and medium-sized enterprise-focused firms in the country.
Seven individuals at the firm were acknowledged for their excellence.
This follows closely behind the firm's recent recognition in the 2025 Legal 500 industry guide.

The firm’s family/matrimonial team was described as having a "broad spectrum of experienced practitioners, ranging from the most junior to those at the top of their game".

Joint heads of family, Deborah Leask and Sean McNally, partner Katie Taft, and senior associate solicitor Georgina Emerson were all recognised.
The commercial litigation department – that includes the dispute resolution and banking and finance teams – was praised for its "outstanding" client care and "excellent" partners.
Head of dispute resolution Lauren Day and head of banking and finance litigation William Fox Bregman were both highlighted as notable practitioners.
Head of business services Neil Cook was noted as a key contact in Ellis Jones’ ranking as one of the best SME-focused firms.
Chambers and Partners has been publishing detailed rankings of lawyers, legal departments and law firms for more than 30 years.
Ellis Jones was rated in the Legal 500 earlier in October.
A total of 17 partners and solicitors were mentioned in their own right or as part of their team in the guide.
