A man has been released without charge after a man was punched and kicked before being threatened with a knife.
Police say a 40-year-old man from Gosport has been released with no further action after an incident on July 19 this year.
The victim, a 37-year-old man, was on Carless Close near Grande Road, Gosport between 6.30pm and 7pm when he was allegedly attacked.
Hampshire Constabulary said he was punched in the face several times and kicked in the back by one man.

Another man, with short ginger hair and a beard, then threatened him with a knife.
The 40-year-old was initially arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was bailed until October 19.
