The leader of Hampshire County Council is warning Romsey drivers of traffic ‘chaos’ on a major Hampshire road.
Southern Water is undertaking emergency repairs on the A3057 from October 14 until November 1, near the Ashfield Bakery.
In recent days there has been significant delays between Romsey and the M271 roundabout at Nursling due to the road works.

HCC’s leader Cllr Nick Adams-King has taken to Facebook to warn residents of the issues.
He said: “Southern Water’s temporary lights on the A3057 are causing chaos.
“The problem is they are not working on the road rather in the field alongside and the lights are purely protecting their vans which are parked there.
“I have asked HCC if there anything we can do to either get manual control or better still get them to find an alternate parking arrangement.”
