A Southampton burglar has been jailed after he stole items including a garden strimmer, a mountain bike, cash and tools.
Krystian Szymanski was jailed for four and a half years after pleading guilty to six counts of burglary and two counts of attempted burglary.
Southampton Crown Court heard how he tried to get into properties on Arthur Road, Firgrove Road, Amoy Street, Park Road, Hyde Close, Devonshire Road, Bullar Road and Thorold Road.
The incidents took place between June 9 and August 26.

Stolen items included a garden strimmer, a mountain bike, a purse, two wallets, a laptop, jewellery, tools worth around £3,000 and hundreds of pounds in cash.
An investigation led to him being arrested and charged.
He pleaded guilty at Southampton Magistrates' Court on September 3 before being sentenced last week.
Detective Inspector Jamie Johnson, of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary’s Western Area Crime Team, which led the investigation, said: “Burglary has a huge effect on those who are targeted, and in carrying out this series of offences Szymanski has demonstrated a clear disregard for the impact on his victims.
“Police work hard to tackle repeat offenders and ensure we disrupt the harm they cause to local residents and businesses.
“Szymanski will now suffer the consequences of his actions, and I hope that the local community can feel reassured that he is now behind bars.”
