A man in his 20s sustained serious injuries after a crash on the A31 that caused long tailbacks on Tuesday night.
The crash on the A31 last night, October 22, saw drivers stuck in traffic for more than an hour and has resulted in lanes remaining closed today.
Police have said that three cars collided on the road, a Vauxhall Vivaro, a Citroen C3 and a Volkswagen Scirocco.
Emergency services have been working through the night to clear spills and debris as a result of the crash.

One man in his 20s suffered a serious ankle injury as a result of the crash. He was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We were called at 5.11pm with reports of a collision involving three vehicles – a Vauxhall Vivaro, a Citroen C3 and a Volkswagen Scirocco – on the A31 westbound near Ringwood.
"A man in his 20s sustained a serious ankle injury as a result of the collision."
