Hampshire M3, M27 and M271 closures: October 25 to 27

These will be along the M3, M27 and M271 during the early hours of the morning.

If you're planning to travel along these roads from Southampton it would be best to take note of different diversions that may be in place.

Here are the closures along the M3, M27 and M271 that will be in place during the weekend of Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27.

Hampshire M3, M27 and M271 closures for Friday, October 25

M3

There are no closures scheduled for the M3 on this day.

M27

On the M27 eastbound, there will be exit and entry slip road closures between Junction 5 and 7 for major resurfacing work.

Alongside that, the exit slip road at Junction 8 will be closed as well between 9pm on Friday and 6am on Saturday.

Also on the M27 eastbound there will be an entry slip road closure at Junction 12 between 9pm on Friday and 5am on Saturday.

Finally, in both directions, the link road from the M27 Junction 12 to the M275 southbound will be shut between 9pm on Friday and 5am on Saturday.

M271

There are no closures scheduled for the M271 on this day.

On the M27 eastbound, there will be exit and entry slip road closures between Junction 5 and 7 for major resurfacing work.

On the M271 northbound, there will be an entry slip road closure at Junction 1 for maintenance work.

This will take place from 9pm on Saturday until 6am on Sunday.

On the M27 eastbound, there will be exit and entry slip road closures between Junction 5 and 7 for major resurfacing work.

Alongside that, the exit slip road at Junction 8 will be closed as well.
