A popular Christmas light switch on event is back after being cancelled last year.
Fireworks and dazzling lights will illuminate Eastleigh for the first time in two years.
The switch on was cancelled last year due to adverse weather conditions, much to the disappointment of residents.
But the event will be back with a bang on November 16.
Organised by the council alongside Dream Empire Events Ltd and Visit Eastleigh, the event will run across a whole day.
A spokesperson from the council said: “Join us on Saturday, November 16, for an unforgettable day filled with holiday cheer, family fun, and, of course, a magical Christmas lights switch-on.
“More details and surprises will be announced soon.”

From 11am to 6.30pm, people can enjoy a Christmas Market and performances from school choirs, Panatical, Winchester Ukulele Jam and Centrestage Youth Productions.
Community stalls will also be available to browse in the High Street, Market Street, and inside Eastleigh Baptist Church.
The church will also be hosting the popular ‘Nativity Walk’ people can enjoy.
Father Christmas can also be visited at The Point, before he switches on the lights later in the day.
Fireworks will then light up the night sky as the countdown to Christmas begins.
