A brewery could be built at the back of a 19th century farmhouse in Southampton.
A licencing application has been submitted to Southampton City Council for a brewery at the back of Benham's Farm House on Witts Hill in Midanbury.
The application, which was submitted to the licencing portal wants to gain permission for the sale of alcohol between the hours of 9am to 5pm, seven days a week.

A ground floor plan shows four large fermentation tanks, and a preparation and bottling area located at an outbuilding on the farmhouse site.
The company behind the application are Wisdom of Ragnar Limited, a business registered in August 2023.
In the 1840s the farm was owned by a Mr William Witt, whose family gave the name to Witts Hill.
It is believed that the farmhouse was converted to a private dwelling in the 20th century.
