A 14-year-old girl is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a car in the New Forest.
Police say the teenager was involved in a crash with a white MG3 on the A326 in Hythe yesterday evening.
The incident happened at around 6.45pm whilst the car was travelling towards Calshot.
The girl was rushed to hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
Police have now launched an investigation and are speaking to the driver who stopped at the scene.

A police spokesperson said: "As part of our investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area yesterday evening and witnessed the collision, the moments leading up to it or the aftermath.
"Anyone who saw what happened or has any information, including dash cam footage that may assist our enquiries, is asked to call 101 quoting the reference 44240463956.
