A charitable effort by Hong Kong nationals in the New Forest has resulted in the purchase of ten generators for war-torn Ukraine.
The campaign, which aimed to help Ukrainians endure the winter amid ongoing conflict, raised over £2,500 through a charity walk.
All donations were directed to AidUkraineDirect and the generators are set to be delivered on Friday, November 15.
Organisers hope the initiative will foster solidarity among the people of Hong Kong, Britain, and Ukraine, all of whom share "the same values: democracy, individual liberty, and love," according to a spokesperson for the group.
