A crematorium is holding a special memorial service to mark Remembrance Day.
Wessex Vale Crematorium will host the service on November 2.
Led by local funeral celebrant minister Rev Mac, the service will take place at 2pm in the crematorium’s chapel and will be followed by a buffet.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to write a letter or card to be placed in the crematorium’s "Letters to Heaven" memorial post box. The event is open to all and does not require pre-booking.
Crematorium manager Lisa Johnson said: "Honouring lives of people who have passed on is a big part of what we do here and it feels fitting that we should commemorate Remembrance Day.
"As a nation, it’s important that we never forget those who gave their lives for us.
"Everyone is welcome to join us at our open chapel event to reflect on and remember those who fought and died in the armed forces."
