A new pocket-sized guide has been introduced for New Forest residents.
The New Forest District Council (NFDC) launched the guide, detailing essential contact information and clarifying the responsibilities of NFDC, Hampshire County Council, and town and parish councils.
The guide highlights the council's new Corporate Plan for 2024 to 2028, offering residents a concise overview of its priorities and goals.
Leader of NFDC, councillor Jill Cleary, said: "We hope our pocket guide will become a handy go-to resource for residents. Not only does it provide quick access to important contact information, it also gives people a better understanding of the work we’re doing to serve the New Forest community. I would encourage everyone to pick up a free copy from our information offices and keep it handy.”
It also shares interesting facts and statistics about the New Forest area.
The guide features 50 facts about council services, released throughout 2024 to mark its 50th anniversary as a district council.
