A man was attacked with a brick and had his phone stolen in a robbery in Fareham, police have said.
The 21-year-old man was found injured on Gudge Heath Lane by an off-duty police officer at around 4.20pm on Wednesday.
The man had suffered a serious injury and was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains.
He said that he had been bit with a brick by another person and that his phone had been stolen.

Two men from Fareham, aged 35 and 46, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted wounding with intent.
They have been bailed until January 31 while further enquires are carried out.
Police are now appealing to speak to anyone who was in the area between 2pm and 4.30pm on October 30.
