A planning application has been submitted to turn an office in Ringwood into three houses.
The application site on 72-74 Southampton Road is currently host to the head office of the applicant, Martch and Rowden Construction Ltd.
Their office is a two-storey building, which is proposed to be split vertically into three two-storey houses.
No external alternations would need to be made and all existing windows would be used.

A storage shed outside would be removed and replaced with a small area of grass, while a smaller shed would be repurposed for cycle storage.
The rest of the outside area would be retained for parking spaces for these new homeowners.
One Southampton Road resident has objected to the application so far, citing parking issues, overcrowding and increased traffic as their reasons.
The local also has concerns over a misappropriation of character, as the application site is positioned next to a row Grade II-listed buildings – the resident feels the new development will not fit in.
