The cleaning of drainage systems will force a busy Millbrook road to close for two nights this week.
A road closure on the service road which runs alongside Millbrook Road West, between Tebourba Way and Holy Trinity Church, will be in place overnight from Thursday to Saturday.
A gateman will be on hand to grant access to businesses on Auckland Road, while access to shops like B&M and Aldi will be maintained via Tebourba Way.
Southampton City Council have advised that before works start, “no-waiting” cones will be placed on the road.

Vehicles parked by these cones may be removed, as they may block access to the works.
Work hours will be 8pm to 6am, and disruption will be kept to a minimum as the road will be open during the day.
