Celebrated Irish singer-songwriter Eleanor McEvoy is set to perform in Southampton.
Fresh from sold-out tours in Ireland, Australia and Germany, McEvoy will play at Hanger Farm Arts on Wednesday, November 13 as part of her 21-date UK tour.
McEvoy is the composer and producer of the iconic song A Woman’s Heart, which featured in hit TV series Derry Girls.
With a career spanning more than 30 years, McEvoy's setlist will include songs from her recent albums South Anne Street and Scarlet Angels.
Her unique blend of folk, rock and jazz has garnered her a global fan base.
McEvoy also plays an active role in cultural life in Ireland, having been elected as chairman of the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) in May 2017.
More recently, she was appointed by the Irish Minister of Arts to be part of a task force for the recovery of the Irish music industry post-Covid.
