The Wessex Rotary Shoebox appeal received generous support from the Hythe community again this year.
Hythe & Waterside Rotary Club ensured the safe delivery of around 200 donated boxes to the regional collection point in Boscombe.
For this annual project, Meadens of Hythe once again provided free use of a van to transport the boxes to the depot.
Meanwhile, Algeco at Marchwood offered storage facilities.
The Hythe & Waterside Rotary expressed gratitude to both companies for their continued support and to all those who took the time to fill boxes with gifts.
These gifts are destined to bring joy and happiness to disadvantaged and displaced children in Moldova, Montenegro, Romania and Ukraine via Poland, during the Christmas season.
The appeal, which has become a cherished tradition, highlights how a community can come together to make a difference in the lives of those in need, reminding all of the power of kindness and generosity.
