A KFC restaurant closed in Southampton after due to a pest problem - but is now back open.
KFC on Portswood Road put a sign in the window informing customers that the restaurant had closed for maintenance work.
A spokesperson for the restaurant chain told the Echo it had been closed due to 'a pest issue in the local area' - but is now back open.

They said: “Operating responsibly is our number one priority, and we have strict processes in place to ensure the quality and hygiene standards of all our“After being alerted to a pest issue in the local area affecting other businesses, our Portswood location voluntarily closed out of an abundance of caution while we investigated alongside the relevant specialists.
“We’re happy to report that we’re now back at the fryers serving our Southampton residents.”
