Some of the South's most celebrated chefs will battle it out for the chance to be crowned Great Hampshire Champion at a fantastic foodie event next week.
Luke Holder, who has his name above the door at Lime Wood, Chewton Glen executive head chef Luke Matthews, Dan Rogan of AO Restaurant and The Pig's regional head chef Andy Wright will appear at The Great Hampshire Menu on Friday November 15.
Alex Aitken, Chef Patron at The Jetty, will also be in attendance at the charity event, at Harbour Hotel Southampton.

READ MORE:The event is all about celebrating the food, drink and hospitality of Hampshire as well as raising tens of thousands of pounds for Room to Reward, a unique charity created to say thank you to inspirational volunteers. Hotel partners donate unsold rooms, charities and community groups nominate hidden heroes for a luxury break - and the charity makes it happen.
Guests will be treated to reception drinks and canapes from the team at Blue Jasmine in Ocean Village before the main event.
Watch the chefs in action, plating up their dishes as you sip an Isle of Wight Mermaid gin and tonic, some bubbles from Hattingley Valley in New Alresford or Triple FFF beer from Alton while nibbling a delicious gyoza or two.
Seated in 'The Bow' overlooking Ocean Village Marina, guests will be served a starter by Luke Matthews, accompanied by a glass of Hambledon, followed by a fish course by Luke Holder with a rose from Black Chalk Vineyard wine.
The main course will be delivered by Dan Rogan, the son of the inimitable Simon Rogan of L’Enclume fame making a name for himself on the South Coast foodie scene, accompanied by an Italian red from another Hampshire supplier.
The dessert will be created by Andy Wright and is followed by a custom cocktail designed for the evening by the cocktail team at HarBar on 6th with Mermaid, New Forest tea, Naked jam and New Forest shortbread.
There will be the chance to win some ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ prizes from all around Hampshire, including a private chef experience at Lime Wood Hotel with Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder.
Very limited tickets, priced £100 per person, remain. Email kate@roomtoreward.org for details and availability.
