A charity has been given nearly £500 thanks to a Halloween event at Specsavers.
Staff at the Lymington branch of the opticians celebrated the spooky season by dressing up in ghoulish costumes and hosting a fundraiser for the Gift of Sight appeal.
Ailsa Walter, manager of the University of Southampton’s Gift of Sight Appeal, attended the event in a witch costume.
She said: "It was so much fun to enter the Halloween spirit for this fundraiser.
"We can’t thank the customers and team at Specsavers Lymington enough for this generous donation."
David Macro, Lymington Specsavers store director, added: "We are thrilled that we could raise cash for this amazing charity.
"This charity plays such an important role in research and, hopefully, events like this will go some way to help support them and raise awareness of their work."
