Lidl has unveiled a Christmas Cola truck that will tour the UK in the build-up to Christmas - and Southampton will be one of the places it stops off at.

The supermarket's Freeway fizzy cola has been reimagined as a truck. The main body is wrapped in a Freeway label and has a "life-like pull-ring back hatch."

Between Thursday, November 14 and Sunday, December 1 the truck will travel to nine different locations across the UK.

At each stop, a pop-up Christmas wonderland will be set up for people to enjoy some festive offerings.

When will the Lidl Christmas Cola truck arrive in Southampton?

Southampton will be the final stop on the Lidl Christmas Cola truck's journey, with it arriving on Sunday, December 1.

It will be set up at the O2 Guildhall Forecourt between 12pm and 6pm on the day.

Discussing the features of the pop-up wonderland, Lidl explained: "In case all the wish-making and gifting provides hungry work, Lidl will also be handing out its delicious festive food at the pop-up wonderland.

"Visitors can step inside a life-size present box, ringing a bell for a surprise season’s treatings, or try Snowmallows, festive biscuits and more on show."
