An Isle of Wight ferry firm has cancelled a sailing this morning (Friday), to allow crew to have a rest.
Red Funnel's 7.50am Red Jet sailing from Cowes to Southampton is off.
The service's next crossing was at 8.25am.
A sign in the ferry terminal cites 'crew availability' as the reason for the cancellation.
One passenger, Ian Dickens, the great-great grandson of Charles Dickens, said it was "beyond a joke".

On Red Funnel's website, the company said it is 'to enable sufficient rest hours for our crew'.
A spokesperson said: "We apologise for the inconvenience caused to your journey."
