A sex shop in Southampton is looking to renew its licence.
The Adult Gift Shop manager Julien Hale has submitted a renewal form to Southampton City Council.
If approved, this means the shop can continue to stock and sell videos or DVDs classified as rated 18.
This category is primarily for explicit videos of consenting sex between adults, according to the council website.
Mr Hale has also proposed to introduce frosted glass on the front window of the shop in Shirley, replacing the existing blinds.
He also hopes to add curtains behind the front door.

The shop will remain open from 9.30am to 7.30pm Monday to Saturday if approved, and is only open to those aged 18 or over.
The shop on Howard Road has been subject to several glowing reviews on Google.
One happy customer said: “I’m very glad I went there, and I have been happy ever since.”
Another visitor said: “Owner is always super helpful and friendly, and his prices are very welcoming too.”
But other visitors were not so enthusiastic, writing: “Literally dirty and bad smelling place.”
The application remains open for consultation.
