My wife and I are both in our 80s and for the past 18 months have done our weekly shopping at the Asda Store near the Marlands Centre in Southampton.
We both much prefer to use the customer till checkouts, as we have experienced on many occasions problems trying to scan and pay for our shopping at the self checkout machines, despite staff being present.

During our time shopping at Asda, we have been served by Maria Botello; her kindness, courtesy and helpful manner towards her customers is greatly appreciated and she is a credit to this particular store and if they continue to employ people of her calibre Asda will have no fears of their customer relations in employing people like Maria.
