Royal Navy and Royal Marine Volunteer Cadet Corp Cadets at HMS Sultan have marked Remembrance Day by planting a poppy garden.
The initiative began in 2020 after the Royal British Legion encouraged nationwide poppy planting to honour service personnel and emergency services.
Despite challenges that year, a limited group of volunteers planted the garden to demonstrate the unit's support. The tradition has continued each year in November.
Captain Hamilton said: "It has been a great privilege to join with the cadets for their Remembrance Service. A poignant tribute to the fallen and a fantastic way to start the Remembrance weekend."
Officers from HMS Sultan joined the cadets for a short service before this year's planting.
On Remembrance Sunday, the cadets will participate in local acts of remembrance at Gosport War Memorial, Fleet Air Arm Memorial, and Lee-On-The-Solent's sunken garden.
