Police vehicles were rammed as a "criminal convoy" were chased across Hampshire across two days.
The group are said to have tried to steal a mini digger in Wiltshire, before being disturbed by Wiltshire Police and making off across the border into Hampshire.
Hampshire Constabulary then spotted two vehicles driving dangerously at speed on November 7.
Initial attempts to follow and spot them were unsuccessful, but on November 8, a car suspected to be involved in the incident was spotted in Romsey, along with a Ford Transit van.

Police attempted to stop the car, but two vehicles were rammed in the process.
A Honda CRV managed to outrun the police but officers stopped a Ford Transit van, in Lee near Rownhams, which was determined to have been stolen from Dorset.
A 39-year-old man from New Milton was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, criminal damage, and theft of a motor vehicle.
He has been bailed until February 8, 2025 while the wider investigation continues and Country Watch – the police’s specialist rural and wildlife crime team – continue patrols.
