A new project is set to help people in Southampton save on energy bills.
SO Energy Wise, part of the Testlands hub, is offering energy-saving assessments to cut costs, reduce emissions, and boost home comfort.
Lisa Beaney, environmental wellbeing lead at So Energy Wise, said: "This is going to be a very challenging winter for many people.
"We know thousands of people are facing difficult choices around their energy bills, especially those hit by the cut in the winter fuel allowance payment.
"This project will enable us to identify grants people can apply for, helping us inform them about the sustainable choices that are available.
"Ultimately, by making homes more energy efficient, people can save money and be kinder on the planet."
Funded with a £490,000 grant from the Department for Energy and Net Zero, the initiative will operate for two years.
Findings will be shared with other UK regions.
