Firefighters were called out to a bus on fire.
Residents were concerned when fire services were spotted in West Totton on November 11.
Crews from Redbridge and Totton were sent out to Ringwood Road after a fire caught alight in the engine compartment of a bus.
Fire services were made aware of the situation shortly before 1.30pm and headed to the scene.
But the fire was already out upon arrival, leading firefighters to investigate and inspect the vehicle to ensure it was safe.

After doing so, the crews headed back to the station and returned shortly after 1.45pm.
The stretch of road on the A336 did not need to be closed during the incident.
This is not the only fire-related incident in Totton recently, as services were called to Salisbury Road on October 28 after a fire started in a camper van.
The flames spread to a nearby barn which contained approximately 500 bales of hay, resulting in eight crews spending the afternoon tackling the fire.
