A Locks Heath supermarket was allegedly targeted by four people who stole a range of products worth over £1,000.

The "high-value shoplifting" incident saw £1,245 of products including Nicorette gum and Oral B toothbrush heads stolen from Waitrose at Locks Heath Centre, Hampshire Constabulary said.

It happened shortly after 3pm on Sunday, November 3.

The force has launched an investigation and has now released CCTV images of four individuals they wish to speak to.

A prolific shoplifter from Gosport was jailed yesterday (November 11) for four months and handed a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order as police try to stomp out theft in Hampshire.

The woman was charged with two counts of assault by beating, one count of common assault, two counts of theft from a shop and one count of attempted theft from a shop.
