SEVERAL Scottish campsites have been commended at the 2024 Camping and Glamping Awards.

Introducing the awards, the organisers said there is nothing quite like a holiday in the great outdoors, adding that there is an "endless" list of places to explore across the country.

They admitted that this variety made selecting the winners "tough" with this year's champions being "consistently excellent" and bringing "much-needed adventure to everyday life".
