A group of young people were reportedly seen throwing eggs at cars from a roof on a busy high street.
On Tuesday evening, residents posted on Facebook enraged by a group congregating on a roof in Shirley.
They were allegedly throwing eggs at cars driving past Shirley High Street.

One Howard Road resident, who wished to remain unnamed, said: “It’s not really what you expect when you’re trying to drive home and it’s the last thing you want to see in the part of the town [that you live in].
“I didn’t feel in danger at any point, but I know that some people could have been, it’s not a nice thing.”
Hampshire Constabulary confirmed they received a report of the incident, but had no reports of injuries and confirmed that no arrests have been made at this time.
