Businesses are being invited to join a partnership to support a hospice organisation.

Mountbatten Hampshire has launched a new tiered programme for businesses to contribute to the community.

The initiative offers three different levels of support, encouraging companies to raise or donate between £500 and £5,000 over the course of a year.

The scheme is designed to be flexible, allowing businesses to meet their goals through events, team fundraisers, or direct contributions.

Each level of support comes with exclusive benefits, which aim to engage businesses directly with the hospice's round-the-clock end-of-life and palliative care services.

These services are provided in Southampton and across large parts of Hampshire, both in patients' homes and at the hospice's 21-bed facility.

The programme aims to connect businesses with the community while also offering networking opportunities.

Caitlyn Sherry, corporate partnerships manager at Mountbatten Hampshire, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for your Hampshire business to support your local hospice, in a way that aligns with your goals and values.

"Our business community has always been instrumental in helping us deliver essential services. With this new partnership program, we are inviting businesses of all sizes to join us in something deeply impactful.

"This year, hospices like ours are facing a funding crisis. Every day, Mountbatten’s hospice and our 24/7 community services support around 1,800 people, across Southampton and large parts of Hampshire.

"While we receive a third of our funding from the NHS, this amount has not increased with inflation and our costs are rising. It makes community funding and donations more critical than ever."

Businesses can choose to become a 'Local Business Hero' by raising or donating £500 over 12 months, a 'Corporate Partner' by contributing £2,500, or a 'Corporate Patron' by committing £5,000.

A spokesperson from Mountbatten Hampshire said: "By becoming a Local Business Hero, Corporate Partner or Corporate Patron, businesses like yours will help us continue our vital work, while gaining valuable recognition, engagement and networking opportunities."
