A councillor is warning that road works are set to hit West End later this month - which could cause delays.
Motorists in West End are being warned as highway repair and maintenance works are set to take place at the crossroad on Swaythling Road this month.
The works are set to go ahead on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 26 and 27, with four way traffic lights being put in place.

West End councillor, Steve Broomfield, told residents on Facebook: "There will be four-way temporary lights at the Chalk Hill and Swaythling Road junction while some remedial work is undertaken to the ironworks (manhole covers).
"As always this is dependent on the weather - If I hear of alterations to the plan I will let you know."
These works are set to take place between the hours of 8pm and 6am in order to minimise the impact on drivers.
