The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

ALEXANDER CARTER, 37, of Paisley Road, Bournemouth, admitted failing to provide a sample for a Class A drug test in Southampton on July 31. He was handed a fine of £120 and must pay prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge of £48.

TAKUNDA CHIMANGA, 30, of Creswell Corner, Knaphill, Woking, pleaded guilty to drink driving on the M27 near Southampton on August 11 with 54 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, above the 35 microgramme limit. Chimanga was banned from driving for 14 months and ordered to pay a fine of £386, prosecution costs of £85 and a £154 surcharge.

SERGEJ SIPILOVAS, 21, of Milton Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to being in possession of cannabis on April 6. He was fined £400 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £160 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the Class B drug.

JOMON MANIKULATHU RAJU, 39, of Chatsworth Road, Eastleigh, admitted drink driving in Woodside Avenue, Eastleigh on October 15, with 76 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £346 and banned from driving for 22 months. He must pay £85 prosecution costs and a £138 surcharge.

BRYAN CHEESBROUG, 63, of Exmouth Gardens, Horton Heath, pleaded guilty to drink driving in a Vauxhall Vivaro on Century Gardens, Eastleigh on October 18, with 43 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was banned from driving for 13 months and ordered to pay a £440 fine. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £176 surcharge.
